Job Duties & Responsibilities
Proactively calls up to 40 customers per day to achieve company goals
Demonstrates capability to utilize a proven sales process to move leads successfully through the entire sales cycle from discovery to close
Ability to thoroughly research and develop your account strategy by using client websites, LinkedIn, Google search, etc., before making initial contact
Experience in using a Customer Relationship Management system (CRM), preferably Salesforce.com
Ability to handle complex technical customer inquiries on products and applications
The ability to learn technical products and applications in a timely manner and utilize knowledge in the sales process
A strong work ethic and discipline to prospect and follow up on all leads provided
Experience in selling technical products in a complex sales environment with multiple decision makers
Designs territory coverage and sales strategies with a team
Achieves monthly and annual sales revenue quotas of our client’s products
Achieves sales activity and opportunity pipeline metrics that support attainment of revenue goals
Services, up-sells, and cross-sells to existing clients
Maintains a current knowledge of market activities, including competitive products, pricing, policies, new technology, product specifications, and possible new products
Manages and maintains a detailed pipeline that is 2x assigned quota to achieve assigned monthly quota
Skills & Requirements
Bachelor’s degree with a technical concentration preferred
At least 2-5 years previous sales experience with a proven solid track record
3-5 years of experience in B2B sales with a proven track record of closing sales over the phone in an inside sales environment
Experience in a high outbound transactional, customer service call center, or sales environment
Background in technical industrial products sales
Prior experience with developing, coordinating, and leading training programs preferred
